Mother’s day in France isn’t until 29th
May, but today is mother’s day in the UK. There are so many English living in
this area that the local hypermarket is selling mother’s day flowers……. never miss
an opportunity…

Unlike in Australia, the supermarkets here have
only just put Easter chocolates on the shelves. Three weeks is considered
enough of a last minute rush.
The river level is back to something like normal, and the cranes are migrating north to Russia (
so I’m told)…now come on spring......
